The HCSO is pleased to announce the completion of the semester internship program with Jackson State University for three students with the College of Liberal Arts.
These students spent the semester working in different divisions of the HCSO and the criminal justice system for a paid internship along with a semester grade. This program was designed to allow students to be compensated while getting experience and expertise in their respective major. The monies for this program were allotted through HCSO ARPA funds for community outreach and services.
According to the partnership, up to four students will be selected by the college to participate in the program. This is the first completion of the partnership and we look forward to more students being afforded this grand opportunity.
