On last week, Sheriff Tyree Jones and staff visited and spoke with the youth enrolled in the Summer STEM program at Tougaloo College. Staff spoke with the students about leadership and also crimes involving youth. K-9 ”Nero” also did a presentation with illegal narcotics, a drone presentation was conducted and they had a chance to observe the SWAT “Bearcat” armored vehicle.
Always great to connect with the youth and share information. The youth are valued and we must assure them of the obligation law enforcement shares with them.
