Which former Hinds County area high school stars will compete on Friday, April 17?

The Mississippi High School Activities Association has released its list of venues for the state’s high school golf championships in 2026. Both girls’ and boys’ divisions across all classes now know where they will compete.

The Mississippi High School Activities Association has named its top high school softball and baseball players of the year across seven classes statewide. Notably, East Union’s Lucy Cochran became a four-time winner of the ‘Miss Softball’ honor.

The Mississippi High School Activities Association has announced the winners of the 2026 Lindy Callahan Scholar Awards. The recipients will be honored at a luncheon on April 30.
