The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) has revealed the student-athletes participating in the league’s annual SWAC Football Media Day. The event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 16, at 10:00 am CST at the Sheraton-Birmingham.

All twelve SWAC head football coaches will attend to discuss the upcoming 2025 football season. Joining Jackson State’s head coach T.C. Taylor are student-athletes Jacobian Morgan and Jeremiah Williams.

The list of student-athletes attending includes Cornelious Brown IV and Dimitris Biamby from Alabama A&M, Keane Lewis and Cam Smith from Alabama State, JaCorian Sewell and Gideon Spottsville from Alcorn State, AJ Hall and Maleek Huggins from Bethune-Cookman, Ashton Grable and Davion Westmoreland from Florida A&M, Nick Howard and Blake Davis from Grambling State, DePhabian Fant and Kobe Byrd from Mississippi Valley State, Travon Jones and Jamal Marshall from Prairie View A&M, Darren Morris and Ckelby Givens from Southern, Kenneth Cooper Jr. and Damarcus Thompson from Texas Southern, as well as Jeremiah Rodgers and Trey Glymph from UAPB.

The SWAC is recognized as a leading HBCU conference in the United States with numerous alumni playing professional sports. The conference offers championship competitions in various men’s sports such as baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, indoor track & field, outdoor track & field, and tennis. For women athletes, the competition includes basketball, bowling, cross country, golf indoor track & field outdoor track & field soccer softball tennis volleyball.
