March 21, 2023 (Jackson, Miss.) - Senior theatre majors Lamana Stringfellow and Aleksandra Erives will make their directing debuts with two one-act plays, full of plot twists, mistaken identity, and broad physical comedy.

"An Evening of One-Acts” will begin March 29 at the Center for the Arts’ Blackbox Theatre.

The Man in the Bowler Hat, written by A. A. Milne, is directed by Stringfellow and presents a terribly exciting event that happens in the humdrum life of characters John and Mary.

Moliere’s The Imaginary Cuckold, directed by Erives, offers a satire of honor and infidelity with accusations of betrayal. Recommended for ages 12 and up.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors. Admission is free for Belhaven students, faculty, staff, and their immediate family members. For more information or to reserve tickets, email boxoffice@belhaven.edu.

Showtimes include:

Wednesday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m.
Thursday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m.
Friday, March 31 at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 1 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
