As we approach a very busy and fun filled weekend, we want make sure all citizens of Hinds County are adhering to all safety measurements. Drivers, especially in residential and neighborhoods, should take extra precautions due to children participating in trick or treat activities.
The HCSO is conducting ”Operation Scarecrow” to address compliance checks for sex offenders in Hinds County and to address non-compliant offenders. This operation will continue throughout portions of the weekend.
Deputies will continue extra patrol throughout Halloween night and we are asking citizens to please call the HCSO at 601-352-1521 to report any suspicious activity. We wish everyone a fun filled weekend and much safety.
