Graduates earn 220 degrees from Millsaps College

About 40.4 percent of the 220 degrees and certificates handed out by Millsaps College in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Jackson conferred 54 bachelor's degrees and 35 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 31 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 25 master's degrees in general business administration and management and 23 bachelor's degrees in accounting.

The college enrolled 865 students for 2017-18, including 799 in undergraduate programs and 66 in graduate programs.
