U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith has recently shared a series of posts on social media, addressing topics ranging from faith to national security investments and higher education partnerships.
On July 13, 2025, Hyde-Smith cited scripture in her post: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7.
The following day, July 14, 2025, she highlighted a significant investment in maritime security: “The OBBB’s historic $4.3B investment in Polar Security Cutters – built right in Pascagoula at Bollinger Shipyards – will directly strengthen our Coast Guard and national security. Even more, it’s an investment we’ll see pay off here at home, supporting jobs and boosting the”.
Later on July 14, Hyde-Smith discussed her engagement with leaders from Jackson State University: “It was a pleasure to meet Dr. Denise Gregory, who now leads Jackson State University and VP of Research and Economic Development, Dr. Almesha Campbell. We had a great conversation and I look forward to partnering in advancing higher education at this historic institution and”.
Jackson State University is a public historically Black university located in Jackson, Mississippi.
