This week, the Senate Armed Services Committee voted by roll call to report favorably on several Department of Defense civilian nominations. The individuals nominated for key positions include:

– Mr. Michael P. Cadenazzi, Jr., as Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy
– Vice Admiral Scott W. Pappano, USN, as Principal Deputy Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration
– Mr. Matthew L. Lohmeier, as Under Secretary of the Air Force
– Mr. Justin P. Overbaugh, as Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security
– Mr. Daniel L. Zimmerman, as Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs
– Mr. Anthony J. Tata, as Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness
