The Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) has launched a new feature on its website, offering an extensive archive of boys’ and girls’ basketball records dating back to 1922. The resource, compiled by Van Dyess, provides scores from every championship game as well as summaries that highlight All-Tournament teams and individual scoring leaders.

Visitors can also review quarterfinal and semifinal results, along with information about the coaches who guided their teams to championships. According to the MHSAA, “Whether you’re reminiscing about past triumphs or researching the rich legacy of Mississippi high school basketball, this archive is your ultimate destination for championship history.”

The database allows users to search for specific information or download a PDF version of the records. The association has indicated plans to add photographs in future updates and is inviting the public to submit photos through an online form at https://www.cognitoforms.com/MississippiHighSchoolActivitiesAssociation/BasketballHistoryPhotoSubmissionForm.
