The Mississippi High School Activities Association announced on April 28 the schedule for the 2026 Spring Esports Championships, which will take place at the Thad Cochran Center at the University of Southern Mississippi.
The event brings together high school students from across Mississippi to compete in popular video games and aims to showcase their skills in a structured tournament environment. According to the released schedule, check-in for Rocket League begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by semifinals held on the first floor. Marvel Rivals check-in starts at 10:00 a.m., with finals taking place in the Championship Theater on the second floor at 10:30 a.m. Mario Kart participants will check in starting at 11:00 a.m., with semifinals scheduled throughout late morning and early afternoon. Madden and Super Smash Brothers events are also included, each with their own designated check-in times and match locations throughout the day.
Finals for Rocket League, Madden, Mario Kart, and Super Smash Brothers are set to occur in the Championship Theater on the second floor between early afternoon and late afternoon. The detailed schedule highlights multiple simultaneous matches using different rooms within the venue.
