The Mississippi High School Activities Association announced on Apr. 27 the schedule for the 2026 Flag Football Playoffs and Tournament, outlining dates, locations, and ticket information for participating teams and fans.
The playoffs will feature the top 16 teams entering a bracket system. The first round is set to take place at the higher-seeded team’s venue on April 30, with games beginning at 6:00 p.m. Tickets for these games are priced at $10.
Teams are divided into three regions: North, Central, and South. The North Region will have four playoff teams competing in two matchups between Region 1 and Region 2 qualifiers. The Central Region includes eight playoff teams from Regions 3 through 6, while the South Region features four teams from Regions 7 and 8.
Quarterfinals are scheduled for May 9 at Mississippi College. Tickets for this stage of the tournament will cost $15. Quarterfinal games begin at various times starting from 10:00 a.m., followed by semifinals in the afternoon at approximately 3:00 p.m. and finals scheduled for a tentative start time of around 6:00 p.m.
This structure provides an organized approach to determining a state champion in flag football among high school teams across multiple regions of Mississippi.
