On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Jackson Preparatory School standouts Eli Berch and Thaxton Berch’s current college team, the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, won 9-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Maine Black Bears.

The game took place at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Black Bears this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 6 p.m. at Pete Taylor Park against Southern Miss Golden Eagles.
