Ahmad Miller earns co-HBCU National Player of the Week honor after standout game

Jackson State University running back Ahmad Miller has been named HBCU National Co-Player of the Week following his performance in the Hope Labor Day Classic. Miller, a redshirt-sophomore from Memphis, Tennessee, earned Offensive MVP honors after carrying the ball 12 times for 180 yards and two touchdowns. He averaged 15 yards per carry during the Tigers’ 28-14 win over the Pirates.

Miller’s key plays included a two-yard touchdown run with just over five minutes left in the fourth quarter that broke a tie and gave Jackson State a 21-14 lead. He later secured the victory with a 76-yard touchdown run with four minutes remaining.

Miller will be featured on BOXTOROW with Donal Ware, a nationally syndicated sports talk show broadcast on radio stations across the United States as well as in The Bahamas and British Virgin Islands.
